About Jessica

Jessica lives and trains locally.  She shares her home with her husband Chris, new daughter
Gracie, the dogs, Maggie and Etta, and her horse Missy.  She has worked as a veterinary
technician and hospital dog trainer at a busy veterinary hospital for nearly seven years.  In
her free time she enjoys learning new things, taking agility classes with Etta, riding Missy
(preferably in the woods!) and hiking with the family and the dogs.  She also loves to paint,
draw, read and scrap book.

training works and it is great!  I have learned that there is an enormous resistance to
positive training. People insist that you needed force to train a dog.  I have seen results
with positive training that I have never seen before when I used force based methods.  I
know it is simply not true and I will continue to believe it, train my dogs with it, and teach
it for as long as I am able.  No dog should have to suffer through some of the methods out
there, it is my mission to prevent that as much as possible".
