| Level 2 - (open to dogs of all ages, but must have tested out of Level 1): This is a unique class. We now offer "Flex" classes, meaning that there is NO start or finish date! You can start as soon as you are ready and even skip a week if you need to! You get 8 weeks to take 6 classes. All students begin at level one and test out to move on to the next level. Class meets Wednesday nights at 7 pm. Please call or email to confirm an attendance spot. Required Materials: Clicker, bait bag, treats. We continue to work on strengthening the behaviors learned in Level One and specifically focus on calm behavior, loose leash walking and teaching our dogs to stay, coming when called and leaving objects upon request all with distractions. We place a strong emphasis on real life behaviors to help make our dogs welcome and well loved members of our families and of our communities. This class is NOT suitable for dogs with existing aggression or severe fear issues regarding strangers or other dogs. Private classes are needed to address such issues prior to attending a group class to ensure the safety of all attendees. I Always Welcome And Encourage People To Attend Current Classes To See How I Teach! To each class you should bring: Lots of tiny chewy treats the size of a pea, your clicker (handed out at first class), some type of bait bag to easily access your treats, a flat collar and a 4-6 foot leash on your dog (NO retractable leashes in class please!). |
| Well trained dogs are free to go more places and enjoy more freedoms because they are a joy to be around and a welcome sight. Untrained dogs are "free" to stay home. It is a pleasure to make a dog part of the family. Inviting them along on family adventures is part of the joy of dog ownership. |
