Canine Good Citizen - Level Three

~CANINE GOOD CITIZEN - Class meets Thursdays at 7 pm.

This is a unique class.  We now offer "Flex" classes, meaning that there is NO start or finish date!  You
can start as soon as you are ready and even skip a week if you need to!
You get 8 weeks to take 6 classes.
All students begin at level one and test out to move on to the next levels.

Tuition is $160, due at time of enrollment.  No refunds upon class attendance.

This class builds upon the behaviors learned in levels one and two while adding challenges such as
distractions and more challenging advanced behaviors.  The goal is also to prepare dogs and their owners for
the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen test. Testing is done at the 6th class the dog attends.
Some of the test components are polite greeting of strangers, response to basic obedience commands,
walking politely in crowds, good behavior in the presence of strange dogs, and maintaining good behavior
while separated from their owner.

This is a 10 part test set out by the American Kennel Club. It is a nationally recognized test showing that a
dog has been trained to a standard level of being safe in a public setting.  Please see the American Kennel
Club's website
www.akc.org for more info.  Dogs must pass all ten parts of the test to achieve certification.

This class is NOT suitable for dogs with existing aggression or severe fear issues regarding strangers
or other dogs.  Private classes are needed to address such issues prior to attending a group class to
ensure the safety of all attendees.

Private testings are available without taking the class.

I Always Welcome And Encourage People To Attend Current Classes To See How I Teach!

To each class you should bring: Lots of tiny chewy treats the size of a pea, your clicker (handed out
at first class), some type of bait bag to easily access your treats, a flat collar and a 4-6 foot leash
on your dog (NO retractable leashes in class please!).
